Lost Wax development have undertaken a number of development projects which were technically challenging. The Company has made significant investments into people, processes, materials and fixed assets to support these projects.

How we helped

In order to capture all relevant R&D activities, Myriad Associates assigned its industry experienced technical expert to undertake a walk-through of the LWD’s manufacturing facility. In addition, they interviewed key operational and technical staff. It quickly became evident that LWD were undertaking significant eligible activities relating to design and process challenges as well as material trials, which qualified for R&D tax credits.

Myriad Associates’ qualified Cost Accountants undertook a thorough review of the LWD cost base to ensure that all relevant R&D expenditure was captured in order to fully optimise the claim.
